Then you should prioritize values for the people of China that we've read about in "Wild Swans," listing them in order of what they cherish most. Then write me one 5-8 sentence paragraph explaining any differences/similarities that you see.

Discuss the book and read the ending. Discussion focused on the use of similes and onomatopoeia as literary devices because you'll be addressing lit devices in your passage analysis next class.

Groups of 3 work on "Name that chapter." IF YOU MISSED THIS CLASS, you should go to the last 5 chapters of the book, think about the main idea/event of the chapter, and write 1-2 sentences that sum up those ideas/events. Next, create a short title that hints at those ideas/events. Turn in for credit by Friday.
