WED. 5/5 SHELDON IHS, both a.m. and p.m. classes, and THURS 5/6 SOUTH IHS
At Sheldon and at South, a.m. classes only:
Go over the ending of "Nectar in a Sieve"
Passage analysis from the novel. IF YOU MISSED THIS CLASS, you should come in at lunch and make it up. Don't put this off!
HWK: TAKE YOUR HANDWRITTEN PASSAGE ANALYSIS HOME AND TYPE IT, DOUBLE SPACING. YOU MAY CHANGE SPELLING AND PUNCTUATION, BUT YOU MAY NOT CHANGE ANY WORDS AT ALL. YOU MUST RETURN THE TYPED VERSION WITH THE HANDWRITTEN ONE STAPLED TO THE BACK OF IT.
FOR SOUTH P.M. CLASS: We graded your vocab tests and then began watching, discussing, and answering study questions for "Shadow Magic," set in China in 1902. IF YOU MISSED THIS CLASS, you should come in at lunch on Monday to get the discussion questions and watch the film. It's hard (though not impossible) to find online. No homework for this class.
