MONDAY 10/19 SOUTH IHS AND TUESDAY 10/20 SHELDON IHS

Toga party! Students come dressed in a toga with accessories that emphasize an assigned character from the play "Oedipus" or a Greek god/goddess.

At South, I went over the very beginning of the play and then assigned groups to act out lines next class.

At Sheldon, we're behind because of the district-wide testing day last week, so students just today received the background info on the play.

HWK: SOUTH IHS -- TYPE THE 20 SENTENCES REQUIRED FOR THE FIRST 10 VOCAB WORDS ON YOUR PURPLE SHEET

HWK: SHELDON IHS -- TYPE THE 20 SENTENCES REQUIRED FOR THE FIRST 10 VOCAB WORDS ON YOUR PURPLE SHEET. ALSO, YOU NEED TO FINISH READING THE PLAY UP TO MIDDLE OF PAGE 65. (Sorry you have more homework than South, but South had more homework than you did this past weekend. It all evens out!)
